Crappybara

Crappybara
Crappybara is a cheeky family card game about trying very hard not to collect too much trouble. Inspired by the world’s most relaxed animal and the least relaxed consequences, players draw cards, dodge Burdens, grab Survivals and try to avoid ending up with a pile of problems they really did not ask for. It is quick, silly, easy to learn and built for players who enjoy lightweight chaos with a big grin on its face.
The game is aimed at families and younger players, with simple turns, clear decisions and enough tactical nuisance to keep everyone interested. Players are not trying to manage a vast strategy engine or memorise a booklet full of exceptions. They are trying to stay afloat while the table gently conspires against them. One unlucky draw can change everything, and one well-timed card can turn a disaster into someone else’s problem.
Crappybara works well for family game nights, holidays, rainy afternoons, after-school play, birthday gifts and children who enjoy a game with a slightly naughty-sounding name but family-friendly rules. The theme gives it instant personality, while the mechanics keep it accessible and replayable.
It is colourful, funny and a little bit ridiculous, which is exactly where it wants to live. If your capybara gathers too many burdens, things go downhill. Try to remain calm. The capybara probably would.
